Rockstar’s Story Mode instructions describe downloading an uploaded Legacy PC save into Enhanced. The download is limited to once per account, and completing it prevents further Story Mode migrations for that account.[1]

Understand the distinction
Choose the intended save before completing the transfer. A save uploaded in Legacy remains available for 90 days, and afterward the two editions’ Story Mode progress is independent.[1]

Limits and next steps
Uploading another file is not a way around an already completed one-time download. Ask official support if your situation differs from the documented route.[1]
